Diego is a managing partner at Martinez & CIA Abogados. He holds a law degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He holds an LL. M. in ‘Comparative and International Dispute Resolution’ from Queen Mary University of London (England), has completed advanced studies in arbitration at the Swiss Arbitration Academy in collaboration with the Universities of Lucerne and Neuchâtel (Switzerland), and has completed postgraduate courses in contracts and damages at the University of Salamanca (Spain), and in public procurement at the PUCP and ESAN.

He is an arbitrator at the Arbitration Centre of the American Chamber of Commerce in Peru (Amcham), the Cusco Chamber of Commerce and Ankawa International. Sofia Vale is a professor at the Faculty of Law at Agostinho Neto University, focusing her research on business law and arbitration. She serves as an arbitrator (having acted in around 40 arbitrations to date) and as a legal expert in national and international arbitrations.
