Tonico is based in São Paulo and specialises in disputes involving construction law in general, corporate and commercial issues, as well as trade finance.  Tonico has a Master’s Degree from the Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA in Finance and Investor’s Relations from FIPECAFI.  His main hobby is dressage and show jumping.  He was a director of the riding school of the Sociedade Hípica Paulista for two consecutive terms.

Lise de Almeida is a lawyer with extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, having represented parties from diverse economic sectors in commercial, civil and administrative cases for over thirty years now. She holds both a law degree (J.D.) and a doctoral degree (S.J.D.) from the University of São Paulo Law School, and a master’s degree (LL.M.) from Harvard Law School.

Lise is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is in the roster of arbitrators of (i) the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Chamber of Commerce Brazil-Canada (CAM-CCBC); (ii) the Arbitration Chamber at CIESP-FIESP, (iii) the Arbitration and Mediation Chamber of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná, and (iv) the Italian-Brazilian Arbitration and Mediation Chamber – CAMITAL.

She is a founding partner of the Law Firm Almeida, Costa e Pinheiro Sociedade de Advogados headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil.

Marcelo Alencar Botelho de Mesquita works as a lawyer, arbitrator and dispute board member with building and infrastructure contracts since 2003. Author of the book “Contratos Chave na Mão (Turnkey) e EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction)” (Almedina, 2019) and of chapters and essays focused on construction law. Currently, Vice President of the Brazilian Institute of Construction Law (IBDIC). Former President of the Mediation and Arbitration Committee at Brazilian Bar Association of Santa Catarina between 2016-2018 (OAB-SC). Vice-President of Câmara de Mediação e Arbitragem da ACIF – CMAA.

Advogada especializada em arbitragem. Membro do Comitê do YMG Ciarb Brazil Branch. Coadministradora do MN PUC-SP, grupo de estudos voltado para mediação e negociação. Graduada em Direito pela PUC-SP.
