A lawyer with over twelve years’ experience in complex cases before courts, arbitral tribunals and supranational bodies, in civil, commercial, contentious-administrative and constitutional matters. His practice focuses on procedural law, driven by the conviction that justice remains an ideal worth striving for every day.
He serves as a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department at Philippi, Prietocarrizosa, Ferrero DU & Uría (PPU), where he devises procedural strategies aimed at protecting clients’ rights and safeguarding their interests.
He views procedural law as more than just a neutral technique: it is the framework that enables rights to be effectively realised, and the justice system is the rational and civilised means of achieving this.
This same conviction led him to create ‘Coleccionista de Sentencias’ (www.coleccionistadesentencias.com), a platform dedicated to compiling rulings from high courts around the world, viewed through the lens of case law as a living, evolving body of law.
His academic background includes studies in Peru, Italy, Spain and Argentina. Furthermore, he has published in specialist journals and books, and participated in conferences on oral proceedings, constitutional justice and judicial independence. These experiences reinforce his commitment to intellectual rigour and honesty regarding the limits of his own knowledge.
