Durante a London Arbitration Week, o Central Hall Westminster recebeu a Alexander Lecture 2025, ministrada pelo Presidente do Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb), Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab C.Arb, FCIArb, que abordou os desafios da fragmentação jurídica e o papel da arbitragem na preservação do Estado de Direito.
A noite também marcou o protagonismo do Ciarb Brazil Branch, reconhecido por sua atuação ativa e crescente presença no cenário arbitral internacional. Representando o Branch brasileiro neste momento histórico, estiveram presentes a Presidente Cristina M. Wagner Mastrobuono, FCIArb, e a Primeira Secretária Fatima Cristina Bonassa, FCIArb.
O ponto alto do evento foi a Cerimônia de Transmissão da Presidência, que encerrou o mandato de Mohamed Abdel Wahab e oficializou o início da gestão de Cesar Pereira C.Arb FCIArb como novo Presidente global do Ciarb. Sua ascensão representa um marco para o Brasil e reforça o impacto internacional do Ciarb Brazil Branch.

[GALLERY] – Ciarb Brazil Branch stands out in London at the 2025 Alexander Lecture and celebrates the inauguration of Cesar Pereira as global President of Ciarb.
During London Arbitration Week, Central Hall Westminster hosted the 2025 Alexander Lecture, delivered by the President of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb), Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab, C.Arb, FCIArb, who addressed the challenges of legal fragmentation and the role of arbitration in safeguarding the rule of law.
The evening also highlighted the prominence of the Ciarb Brazil Branch, recognized for its active engagement and growing presence in the international arbitration arena. Representing the Brazilian Branch at this historic moment were President Cristina M. Wagner Mastrobuono, FCIArb, and First Secretary Fatima Cristina Bonassa, FCIArb.
The highlight of the event was the Presidential Handover Ceremony, which marked the conclusion of Mohamed Abdel Wahab’s term and officially inaugurated the tenure of Cesar Pereira, C.Arb, FCIArb, as the new global President of Ciarb. His appointment represents a milestone for Brazil and reinforces the international impact of the Ciarb Brazil Branch.
