Parabéns ao Ciarb Brazil Branch e à JAMS, que organizaram um painel lotado sobre “Arbitragem na Nova Era do Comércio” durante a New York Arbitration Week.
Na sessão realizada em 18 de novembro de 2025, renomados profissionais dos Estados Unidos, Ásia, Europa e América Latina discutiram como choques tarifários e mudanças nas regras de comércio estão testando a capacidade da arbitragem de resolver disputas de alto impacto.
Os debatedores abordaram estratégias para lidar com frustração contratual, interrupções na cadeia de suprimentos e mudanças regulatórias, além de oferecer perspectivas sobre como a arbitragem pode se adaptar à volatilidade do comércio internacional.
A sessão foi moderada por Amb. (r.) David Huebner, F.CIArb, C.Arb, CollArb, Presidente do Board of Trustees do Ciarb.

Congratulations to Ciarb Brazil Branch and JAMS who hosted a packed panel discussion on ‘Arbitration in the New Trade Era’ during New York Arbitration Week.
At the session on 18 November 2025, leading practitioners from the U.S., Asia, Europe, and Latin America examined how tariff shocks and shifting trade rules are testing arbitration’s ability to resolve high stakes disputes.
The panellists discussed strategies for addressing contract frustration, supply chain disruption, and regulatory shifts, and offered perspectives on how arbitration can adapt to the volatility of international trade.
The session was moderated by: Amb. (r.) David Huebner, F.CIArb, C.Arb, CollArb – Ciarb Board of Trustees Chair.
