The Young Members Group (YMG) of the CIArb Brazil Branch and North America Branch, in partnership with AAA-ICDR and King & Spalding LLP, presents the Advanced Arbitration Mock Trial in Miami!
This project is a realistic simulation of an arbitration hearing, focused on providing practical arbitration skills training to young lawyers and law students.
What is the Mock Trial?
It’s a unique opportunity to enhance arbitration skills by simulating case presentation and witness hearings with experienced professionals. The objective is to disseminate best practices in arbitration hearings and to prepare students and lawyers professionally.
Who is it for?
Law students pursuing a degree (LLB, LLM, JD, JSD or similar) or attorneys with less than 12 years of practical experience, who are interested in professional development in arbitration and/or other Alternative Methods of Dispute Resolution.
When and Where?
The in-person events will take place on September 4, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM at King & Spalding LLP, Miami, FL 33131. On September 5, 2025, events will be held from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the ICDR-AAA Miami Regional Office, Miami, FL 33131. Online meetings for participant instruction and training will occur between August 4 and September 3, 2025.
