The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators – CIArb Brazil Branch is currently conducting seminars and research to assess (i) how prevalent and uniform is the use of written statements for fact witnesses in international arbitration; and (ii) whether it should suggest the preparation of CIArb guidelines on the topic.
