Sofia Vale is a professor at the Faculty of Law at Agostinho Neto University, focusing her research on business law and arbitration. She serves as an arbitrator (having acted in around 40 arbitrations to date) and as a legal expert in national and international arbitrations. She is a member of the ICSID panel of arbitrators, the ICC Arbitration and ADR Commission, and a member of the Board of Directors of the CAC. With several published articles on arbitration, she is co-author of the Annotated Arbitration Law of Angola.
