She has developed her career in law firms in Germany and Brazil working with/leading the Intellectual Property, Digital Law, Privacy and Data Protection, Dispute Resolution, M&A, and German Desk areas. Ranked at Chambers (Latin America and Global), Leaders League, Best Lawyers, Análise 500 Advocacia.
She is a Professor of Law at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses at Facamp – Faculdades Campinas (lectures: Arbitration, Mediation, ADRs and Negotiation, Commercial Law, Intellectual Property, Information Technology, Privacy and Data Protection, Compliance). Guest lecturer in several courses – California Western School of Law, GVLaw, ESA/OAB, Inova/Unicamp, Embrapa.
She serves as arbitrator, mediator, and panelist for domain names in different institutions. Karin has a CIPP/E certification – Certified Information Privacy Professional – Europe by IAPP – International Association of Privacy Professionals and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Arbitrators of London – FCIArb.
